Peer Review Process

Educa Review: Journal of Educational Sciences and Teacher Education implements a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed to ensure objectivity in manuscript evaluation. The review process follows these steps:

Initial Editorial Screening

  • Every submitted manuscript will be reviewed by the editorial team to ensure its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, as well as compliance with the author guidelines.
  • Manuscripts that do not meet the required standards or are considered irrelevant will be returned to the authors before proceeding to the review stage.

Reviewer Assignment

  • Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to two reviewers with expertise relevant to the topic discussed in the article, particularly in the fields of education and teacher education.
  • Reviewers are selected based on their academic track record and research experience in related fields.

Review Process

  • Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scholarly contribution, research methodology, relevance to the field of educational sciences and teacher education, and compliance with academic standards.
  • Reviewers may provide one of the following recommendations:
    ✅ Accepted without revision
    ✅ Accepted with minor revisions
    ✅ Accepted with major revisions
    ❌ Rejected

Final Decision

  • The editor will consider the reviewers’ recommendations before making the final decision regarding the manuscript.
  • If revisions are required, authors will be given time to revise the manuscript based on the reviewers’ comments and suggestions.

Publication

  • Manuscripts that have been revised and approved by the editor will be scheduled for publication in the appropriate journal issue.

Peer Review Policy

  • The review process generally takes approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the complexity of the manuscript and the reviewers’ responsiveness.
  • The journal does not accept manuscripts that have been previously published or are currently under review by another publication.
  • Any form of plagiarism will be treated seriously, and manuscripts proven to contain plagiarism will be automatically rejected.
